What strikes me most is the difference in their facial expressions. Both of these moments are inherently laiden with pain, and yet the mood in the second one, their eyes- they are so soft. Areas left closed and sealed tight in Aliyah are now irrevocably exposed- leaving them vulnerable to each others hurts.
That may be the greatest accomplishment of season 10.
The vulnerability between the two of them is palpable.
